Better question: why don’t Africans get any flack for enslaving their own people? And even better: why don’t jews get any flack for running the entire thing?
Africans didn’t buy boats and ship people anywhere. Nor did they run brutal Southerm plantations where they routinely raped women and sold off their family members all while preaching to slaves about Christian principles.
Africans merely brutalized each other in tribal wars and sold off their enemies. Europeans did worse than that to each other as late as the 1990’s in Bosnia.

Just look at Liberia, it started as a country for free American blacks yet as soon as they got there they started brutally enslaving local Africans ironically enough.

Obviously, any kind of slavery is wrong, but when slavery in general is brought up, the European/Atlantic slave trade is pretty much the only thing that gets talked about, yet it was Arabs/Muslims that made enslaving Africans fashionable in the first place. They were the ones to start the whole thing yet White/European people are pretty much the only ones that get flack for it. Obviously it was awful, but realistically, if Africans today want to talk about how they have historically been brutally oppressed and subjugated, shouldn't they focus just as much, if not more at the way Arabs and Muslims have historically brutally subjugated them as the Europeans?
Uh, didn't slavery exist in ancient Egypt, long before the creation of Islam?
You guys are asking about why you don’t complain about high taxes in Europe more than America. I mean it’s not like you live in America and the tax system here is what affects you the most. Why should any African American be angry at Arab Slsvers when not s single one of their recent or ancient ancestors are Arabs of African descent. Why don’t you guys talk about Pol Pot of Cambodia more than you do Obama. I mean Pol Pot killed a high percentage of his population which makes him more violent than Obama ever was yet you choose to talk about Obama it’s almost as if you care about things that only affect you, Arab slave trade based in North and East Africa has zero effect on African Americans today and they don’t care because it isn’t their people. The European slave trade is what has helped shape and define American culture hence it is more important infinitely than any other slave trade. Then some of y’all talk about the ridiculous argument that black people enslave their own people. No they didn’t. It’s like calling a Turkish guys enslaving a Bosnian as enslaving their own people or a Roman enslaving a German as enslaving their own people. If they are from a different ethnic group than yours their not enslaving their own people st all, their enslaving people who live near them but don’t share the same language or culture. This is unimportant to African Americans as they don’t know which ethnic group they cane from and have zero connection to that slavery. While today everything from their name to the neighborhood many of the people in the South lives is tied heavily to slavery and its aftermath in America.

What? European Jews certainly participated alongside European Christians in the Atlantic trade and ownership of slaves. But, its tin foil hat nuts to say Jewish people were "running the entire thing."

because then they would have to admit that it wassnt just africans that were enslaved around the world, and that europeans are not as bad as they originally thought.
The slave trade in this country traces back to Muslim slave traders who sold slaves to the Portuguese to work their sugar plantations on Madera and other islands off the coast of Africa, in the 15th century. This was how slavery was re-introduced after being largely extinguished from Christendom after about 1000 AD. I was going to put in a 'ta-da' but let's skip that.
Actually the first slave was created by 'God', according to Gen: 9:18-27....
