New polls just out....

"Surveys are showing overwhelming support for raising taxes on top earners, including a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll released Monday that found 76 percent of registered voters believe the wealthiest Americans should pay more in taxes. A recent Fox News survey showed that 70 percent of Americans favor raising taxes on those earning over $10 million — including 54 percent of Republicans."

That made Schultz spit up some coffee.

Taxes need to go up but 70% is ridiculous. Nobody should be forking over 70% of their income to the feds -- let's not also forget that these people have to pay state, sales, and property taxes as well.

Chavez was once very popular in Venezuela when he rallied the poor to stick it to the rich

Now if you have toilet paper there you are rich.

People love the idea of t̶a̶x̶i̶n̶g̶ robbing the other guy right up until their own tax bracket is impacted.

A majority of republicans support it. Texans are the most brainwashed among Americans since they think everyone can become a billionaire.

So corporate executives don't rob capital from the labor class.

Do you hate Robin Hood?

Do you think voting against the aristocracy was stealing their power?

Not sure why you felt the need to take a weak jab at Texas... kinda shows where you are...

Regarding taxes - run on it.. publicly. Hide nothing and be totally up front.

Once again I'm astounded by the empathy around here about the hardship folks getting nicked more on income above $10M/yr. will endure.

There's not a one of you that this will effect. None.

If it helps, just consider it an offset of all the taxes they already don't pay because of greater options available to those at that income level.
