You think government should be abolished - - no need to get into the specifics.
True. I'm just waiting on you folks to come to your senses. If government schools were abolished and the world didn't it end (and it wouldn't) then it could help you guys out in the journey.
The Media, and Entertainment have been mainstreaming LGBT for years. Now Education has gotten into the act. As LGBT is maybe 1% - 3% of the population, I don't see how their "history" is significant. If a person makes a contribution to society they should be noted for that contribution, not for their race, gender, or sexual orientation.
It is just more pure indoctrination brought to you by the AFT, and NEA and their Democrat handlers.
There are parts of history tied to the LGBTQ community that certainly could be taught in public schools (Paragraph 175, the Lavender Scare, Stonewall Uprising, etc). If that was done no earlier than, say, 7th grade and it wasn't a major component of the course, I don't see a problem with it.
Well, LGBT history is the same as other history, so why would people have a problem with it? They already teach black history and Native American history, so what's the big deal with teaching LGBT history?
Unless you are a bigot who can't stand the thought of your kid even learning about gay people, it shouldn't be an issue.
The part of it that should be included is simply that about how that and other discriminations have affected our country and laws
And that is...and in this case may hopefully be......part of our history
