Its a real question.
Walls work. Socialism doesn't.
Name one thing that has a heart beat that's totally dead.

It's also a leftist lie that Trump walks away with everything and Pelosi and the rest of her ilk walk away with nothing. Trump offered them DACA awhile back and they turned it down.

Nonsense again. Walls and all other forms of border security are sieves. Real border security comes from the methods internal to the country that makes staying without proper status impossible.

And the first step to ever achieving that is to legalize virtually all the long term illegal aliens and gaining control of the overstayers. The actual border becomes a secondary thing if you do it right.

And that again demonstrates the nonsensical position of the right. The only workable solution is not to be considered. The result of course is that the problem will stay as it is until it gets worse. Then perhaps we will do something rational to solve it.

In the mean time we just will have to listen to the right whine.

LOL. I assure you they absolutely will. They know that actually not doing it will turn into a nightmare. The only question is what it will look like. Dreamers/DACA get amnesty. Workers will get a work visa. And things will carry on. Why? Because the majority think the dreamers and DACA folks are American citizens in all but name. The workers are needed-lets be honest, with really low unemployment they really are needed.

So the GOP will not only fall for it, the farmers will basically force them too. Dont be surprised if its Republicans that push for it.

But if they are smart they will get something out of it that works towards resolving this long term. Make it all conditional on birthright citizenship being removed for example, pass it, then hold a vote.

Changes to birthright citizenship are a nonstarter, that requires a change to the Constitution.
