Pelosi caves, gives ground to Trump, says she would sign a bipartisan deal reached by conference committee.

Most likely public pressure bent her to Trump's will. Is she serious now ?
She's lied before so its to early to be sure yet but its a sign maybe something is possible.

Pelosi says she would accept a bipartisan deal on border security

Do you people even bother to read (and comprehend) articles before posting? Or just like to fly off the handle with whatever suits your particular viewpoint.

Madam Pelosi hasn't "caved" or anything of sort. She merely stated would accept a bipartisan deal *IF* it was reached. Scanning the lay of land DT seems to have no intention of allowing such a deal to happen, at least one that does not give him exactly what he wants. It's like telling your eejit son he can have a new car if scores straight A's in school. Yeah there is a chance he will rise to the challenge and you'll have to pony up; but odds are you've made a pretty safe wager.

All politics is about the art of the deal; and Madam Pelosi has forgotten more about that subject than His Orangeness ever knew. The woman hasn't outlasted three or more GOP speakers of the house much less continue to win reelection in her home district for nothing.

Thank you. I was reading the article to and thinking where do they get these conclusions.

She has said that she would step back and Congress has encouraged Trump to also step back, and see if the bipartisan committees can come up with something agreeable to both. Nancy won't interfere if they do and they want Trump to not veto if they do.

There won't be a deal unless she says there's a deal, though. She is calling the shots for the Dem side and the House and any agreement will be what she says it should be. It is as simple as that. Maybe Trump has a say in what the R members agree to as well.

So Pelosi is just blowing smoke up the public's a$$. I did mention that possibility.

She's lied before so what's a little deception.

Very mature and big of Pelosi to admit she is willing to compromise and she is staying true to her word.

Trump used the word "compromise" 4 times last night when talking about getting a deal done, let's see if he meets the democrats halfway. Let's see if Trump really is a "master negotiator."

Republican House Rep Adam Kinzinger said last month: "When both democrats and republicans feel like they gave up too much to end a shutdown, America wins."

This is great news, hopefully we can avoid a second gov't shutdown. That would look REALLY bad for Donald Trump if gov't does shutdown again.

Did you notice the jewlery Pelosi's wore to the SOTU? It was two orange balls surrounded blue beads hanging around her neck. Symbolic?

That's nice we all knew Nancy was for immorality all along. She voted for it before.
