One early example of what devastation capitalism can cause was the various East and West India Companies.

Semantics.

When the "state" controls business and commercial activity whether its called state capitalism, socialism, communism or fascism there are much more similarities than differences.

As long as everyone is fine being poor and having someone else decide all decisions for them it works. But as soon as one person is not fine with the situation the state needs to crack down and stop them. By default the latter is inevitable.

I am not sure that is the case in Russia. Gazprom is huge, yes, but many countries have state-owned oil/gas companies. As for the rest of the Russian economy, I don't think it is controlled by the state. I mean control as in run. Controlling as in monitoring seems fine to me, the economy needs tight controls and rules, else it turns into an egoistic monster.

Found a list of Russian companies including their ownership:

I find it hypocritical and laughably idiotic that the far-right spends so much effort mouthing off about the dangers of "shariah law" while wanting to implement basically the SAME THING, except "based on duh bible!" Hypocrites!

As for the rest of your amusing post, I take it you haven't done any research on existing Christian terrorism, have you?

I also take it you've conveniently forgotten centuries of violence by the Church all through Europe and the rest of the world. You also seem unaware that there is literally no difference between "bible law" and "shariah law" when it comes to using religion to justify atrocities against whoever you happen to hate.

Finally, you're kidding yourself if you think the right-wing loons in this nation who want to shove their "bible buffet" version of laws on everyone else are any better than the Islamic equivalent. Religious fanatics of any sort are dangerous, and it's right-wing "Christians" making the problems in this nation, not "Muslims."
1. Wikipedia is not research. Entries can be edited by anyone.

2. What atrocities have been committed by Christians that have been sanctioned by the church in the last century? Otherwise you are talking about individual nut-balls and criminals doing crazy things. Do Christians and only Christians bear the responsibility of the past?

3. Show me in the bible where it says kill infidels where you find them. That's in the Quran

4. Right now, Coptic Christians and others are being systematically persecuted and killed in various places. How does that resolve with your BS equivalency?

5. Do we have any Christian honor killings? Subjugation of women? Genital mutilations? These things are institutions of Islam. How about Christians throwing acid in peoples' faces. You want to talk about the past, how about the present?

6. I invite you to draw a picture of the prophet so that followers of Islam, equivalent to Christians of course, can pay proper respect to your artistic talents.

7. But please, tell me again how Christianity is the problem here or in any country. Secular law is the purview of communism. Maybe that's a goal for you, I don't know.

During the middle ages, church and politics were closely intertwined, think of colonialism, where Christianity was responsible for millions and millions of deaths. It was not a few wacko individuals, but organized genocide etc.

In the old testament, which after all is part of the bible and thus binding for Christians as well, Jews are told to kill people of other ethnic groups and faiths.

Secular laws have nothing to do with communism. Secular laws are simply based on common sense and global humanist values. That is why humans of all religions, or should I say despite all religions, have rather similar basic rules, which usually predate religions, and passed on by oral tradition.

A society that comprises lots of different ethnic groups and faiths, does best with such secular laws, else someone is bound to feel oppressed for religious reasons.

In the 90s in S America Catholic priests would turn in unmarried pregnant women to the government knowing they were going to be thrown out of airplanes. Another atrocity the church admitted and apologized for.

Huh?

I went to East Germany and the Balkans right after Communism ended. Third World conditions and people seemed to have the life sucked out of them. Never again!
