I was born free to choose, and I will always choose capitalism, where ever it may be hiding. Socialists are on their own. If they can pay me, fine, but when they run out of other people's money, I will be running for the exit, seeking my fortune elsewhere. Because the only ones that make any fortune in socialism are the corrupt insiders/elites. Everyone else gets scraps, if there are any. And quite a bit of those scraps go back to the government, to help sustain an unsustainable model.
It's obvious the Democrat party and the MSM are hell bent on turning the USA into a dependent socialist state, with the political and establishment elite gaining all the real wealth and controlling everything.
It could be everyone’s responsibility if my medical debt is caused by a pandemic that wasn’t my fault, or if i got a viral infection from a cold that I got from other people

So you must want more free tree trade deals and an increase in legal immigration right?

In many other countries, you wouldn't have to worry about debt because you wouldn't have access to quality medical care. In some countries, you would be treated with folk medicine, herbs, and perhaps a ritual to bring good luck. It would be very affordable, yes, but if you had your choice, I think you'd put your faith in our medical system producing a superior outcome.
There are countries that have produced superior results with universal healthcare, but it doesn't mean they always will. If our nation's elected leaders did their job like they are supposed to, they could likely bring changes that would help reduce the burden of high medical care costs in the USA. Let's not forget, your average American does not lead a very healthy lifestyle.
