If socialism's so bad and pure capitalism is so good, then how come most NW European countries have a lower infant mortality rate than we do? Not to mention cheaper health care.
Oh, I forgot. We had a non-socialist government back in the 19th century. Brutal labor strike suppressions, dangerous jobs without adequate (even for that time) safety gear, poor factory designs (Triangle Shirt Waist factor fire in 1911). Not to mention air and water pollution and such. Yeah, sounds like a wonderful place to be.
Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Northern Germany,
Luxembourg, Northern France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Iceland are not commies............
You say we had a non-socialist government back in the 19th century
while the rest of the world was starving. We all start from somewhere.
The West Learns from mistakes and moves on. America learned that
communism is an incurable disease.
and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands ONE NATION UNDER GOD indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

What nonsense, as you cannot equate most of those type of problems with capitalism vs. socialism/communism. Those countries also had their problems with lax safety issues, brutal labor strike suppression (if anyone dared even try), and even today much of the industrial machine in China pollutes far worse than we do.
As to healthcare, we have some of the best in the world, and many a socialist/communist (their ruling class) come here for treatment rather than their own country. Things are more expensive here in part because we subsidize care for the poor into our main system. Socialist/communist countries rations limited healthcare, and everyone is paying through the nose for it via high taxes or mandated labor.
Most importantly, you cannot compare tiny countries that are mostly mono-ethnic societies like Japan or Luxembourg, with mulit-ethnic countries such as ours. For better or for worse, many problems we have in this country are because of our diversity with different cultural values. Ideally we are suppose to be from many into one (i.e. a melting pot), but if you compare life in the minority inner cities to rural America, you would see two vastly different pictures.
Heck, if you were to remove statistics of those areas in many areas (education, life expectancy, crime, etc.) we would be at the top of most studies.
Things are ever improving, but we are a young nation by most of this worlds standards.
BTW - I mentioned Obama as being the problem with modern anti-American rhetoric, but in reality he is just an example of socialist/communist indoctrination of our school system and media complex that has many a communist/socialist indoctrinating our youth.
Sadly Obama rose to be president and with such a megaphone started an apology tour of the world saying how bad we have been, but he didn't get that out of thin air. The Saul Alinsky's of the world have helped to make the radicals of the 1960's and their kids believe America is an evil culture.
The commie scare back in the early to mid 20th century is derided today, but much of it was factual. We have had our country infiltrated by card carrying communists who are in positions of power, whether it be in Hollywood, our school boards, major media outlets, etc.
Bernie Sanders and AOC are but two examples of the canary in the coal mine.
