a completely sexist and racist, anti-male and anti-white, piece of dreck writing by the author referenced in the original post. the student author's parents must be so proud of their girl.
We don't know if she identifies as a girl. Shame on you.
First off, it's pretty badly written and veers around illogically. It's highschool level tripe and we're not talking AP level class either.
That would probably explain her frustration with "white boys" because in any class where a debate comes up and they're in attendance they (and most everyone else) are going to mop the floor with her based upon the intellect that was on display in her article.
After a string of likely humiliating encounters brought on by her own stupidity, she's probably retreated back to the safety of her womens studies classes where those meanies that are smarter and use dirty tactics like logic are unlikely to follow her and the women in those classes are likely to be nicer about her being an idiot and not confront her so directly about it.

at least she'll always have 'Fat Studies' to fall back on
So you don't care, but bother to post on the topic anyway. You do actually care, and don't like the topic being discussed. It really bothers you that it's being discussed.
You know, I finally read the story, to see what the person has to say. I understand that she is sick of listening to white men (or who she derisively calls 'boys') and she is venting, but when you look at it from her perspective, most of who you hear bloviating on television are white males, most of our government is made up of white males, and there is indeed a dearth of black female voices on television and in leadership positions.
Should I, as a white male, be offended by what she is saying? More importantly, why should I even care what she thinks?
The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, and perhaps these words will haunt her someday, who knows, but I certainly don't care what she thinks and she is entitled to her opinion.

Blacks are 13% of the population. They seem to be well represented in the media, especially television.
