Trump has been a tremendous president. Probably the greatest first two years of any president in history. God knew we needed help.

I was afraid God would see how far we had fallen away from Him as a nation and choose to to grant my request. But sometimes it's not what you deserve; it's what you need. And as long as there as a few good people around, God will not level the country, as has been shown in the past.

You don't know it does, either.
Did you miss the part where I mentioned I'm agnostic?

My point is, regardless of what I think, I don't agree with bashing on people who find comfort in religion and prayer.

"There is no such thing as the supernatural"

I might believe that. Or you might say the supernatural is merely the natural for which we do not as yet have an explanation.

But the election results from prayer might be perectly explainable. Let's say 1000 people are praying fervertly for Hillary to lose. Those people are so passionate, they may have an effect on others by their behavior and actions, which in turns affects others to an exponential degree, thus creating the electoral landslide Trump enjoyed.

Trust me, nobody prayed for abortion to become legal. Those folks who want it aren't the praying type.

But it will be a speed bump in history, Like with all evil, the abortion law will be temporary.

How about something that would have been of real benefit. Like bringing me a meal the day after treatment when I couldn't get out of bed for 24 hours.

What they were really saying is...we prefer platitudes over real action.
This may be true sometimes, but not always.

Prayers and more concrete actions need not be mutually exclusive.

Trust someone who thinks birth control is evil sex is bad, abortion will somehow go away, atheists are less "healthy" Christians, and god elected Donald Trump?

Nah, grandpa. I'm good.

SAVE THE FETUS/SCREW THE CHILD is the preferred bumper sticker of your chosen party and your god condones abortion or he would not enable them to happen. The all powerful all knowing god who created the earth and heavens in less than a week is not able to come up with a plan to stop abortions or the need for them?

Three questions. Are you not bashing on people who bash on people who find comfort in prayer? Why do you care if he comments on a message board post?
Why do you feel the need to defend those who gain comfort from prayer?
