Millenials are comfortable leaning on each other throughout their educational years.
They have been indoctrinated to cling to each other as worker bees rather than separate
and focus on successful singularity of hierarchy.
Once school is over and thrusted into the real world of eat or
be eaten they lack lone survival skills and are promptly consumed.
They cower and return to the comforts of home and wonder in amazement how the misfits
they sat next to in class , the ones that never mingled, the ones who remained focused on
their studies, the ones who were mocked as being nerdy became successful. They don't look
in the mirror for failure while cowering in mommy and daddy's basement but choose to blame
the boomers for their inequities.
What is your opinion?

The most recent Census shows that there are 83,000,000 millennialls in the United States. Are you going to judge ALL of them and paint 80+ MILLION people such a broad brush?
What are you even basing your opinion on? From a few younger people that you work with? A nephew? A 32-year old down the street?
Quite a tirade you've got there about a really large group of people.
Everyone I know is obsessed with work. They lie about how "passionate" they are for the companies they work for, insist that they're changing the world (as a product manager at some generic finance tracking software company), and live at the office to the point where companies provide breakfast and dinner and amenities (gyms, laundry, etc). Most of their social life is spent with co-workers on organized company retreats.
Then when their retention bonus is paid out or they're offered a job paying even a dollar more, suddenly they're "passionate" about *that* company.
Older folks I know always mentioned how it was normal to grumble to friends about the drudgery of work during happy hour or even in the break room back in the day.
That does NOT happen nowadays...if you're not super hyped up about your job, you're seen as toxic.
I think this at least is a fair comparison of the different cultural norms for the two generations.
first people who ask me for help on something they could just Google are Boomers?
Give them credit for asking. They are willing to learn. I would not want to work for
someone who would be annoyed by simple questions. You are lucky they still work for you.

Agree ..They are retiring or moving on to higher paying jobs.
The people who don't check their emails at night or on weekends so I have to clean up their messes? Boomers.?
Prior to my retirement my young bosses tried pulling the same stunt. Emailing me during after working hours.
You are not obligated to answer to anything off the clock.
The people who then complain that I'm on my phone ?
Real workers are applying a skill sets and have no time to *** ***.....unless you are a supervisor...
