Undocumented Workers Lose Their Jobs at Yet Another Trump Property
By Miriam Jordan and Ben Protess

President Trump’s family business has employed undocumented workers more broadly than it was previously believed, with multiple workers losing their jobs last month at a Trump golf club in southern New Jersey.

Just as presidents and CEO's of corporations do not personally manage, hire/fire personnel, etc. Trump does not personally manage, including hiring of all 22,450 employees throughout the 500 business entities. So I guess you could say he is clueless about the day to day operations of all those businesses and employees which seems par for course for owning a large organization and running a country.

It is pretty wide spread for illegals to use false documentation to gain employment, as well as for people to knowingly hire illegals. At least now he is cracking down on his own. Hopefully other business owners will do the same and all will voluntarily use e-verify to cut down on illegal hires.

He just now began cracking down on illegals working at Trump companies, after being outed by recent news articles. He was happy employing then for over 15 years. He would have keep them as employees if that news article didn't get published.

Just like he chose to keep Flynn employed after knowing Flynn lied, then he fired Flynn AFTER the news was published about Flynn lying. He acts all surprised once the news is published, but that's all for show.

There's no way that Trump didn't know about the illegals working at his properties. He's a hypocrite. To spin this as "Trump didn't know" is utter nonsense and if anyone believes this then they have been conned.

If Trump truly wanted to keep illegals out of the USA, he would push congress to enact mandatory E-Verify in all states. He's never mentioned this once. It's more effective, cheaper and faster to implement versus a wall.

Trump didn't personnally negoiate or process the illegal payoff to Stormy Daniels either. But he knew about it. There's no way that Trump had zero knowledge that his companies hired illegals. He's playing dumb.

Trump has e-verify in his 2019 budget so you were saying? Ever heard of the term "innocent until proven guilty"? Would you want to be accused of something and convicted of it without any proof or a fair trial? Think about it and put your hatred of Trump aside in this issue. Let justice be served the way it's intended to not convicting him without that.

Wrong, it's entirely possible that he didn't know. Why don't you wait for a conviction before assuming he is guilty?

Oh, Show me where I defined the layers of defense with regard to illegal immigration. Dumb comment much?

I mean, you support sanctuary states and cities, but you want Trump punished for being a "sanctuary employer". Wow. Talk about hypocrisy. Your Trump hatred is frothing out of your soup-cooler like you swallowed a dozen alka-seltzers.

Really so you believe all company presidents and ceo's are involved in the hiring of employees. Even those with 500 companies and over 22K employees personally hire everyone, they verify and challenge everyones documents? Ok .

I imagine one would be more personally involved in issues with someone they were intimate with as opposed to a stranger they never met an may likely never meet.
