Do you speak of the same country that POTUS Trump says we should ignore that their prince ordered a person killed and cut up because they bought lots of weapons from us? That country? The one who financed 9-11?
No. The one who helped pay down Kushners debt. That guy. The same guy. Yes.
So, in TrumpLandia, 'winning' is the failure to sanction murderous thugs who would have a man murdered for saying bad things about about those thugs? Trump's wet-dream of murdering members of the media and going unpunished is sad commentary on the so-called values of the White House. The swamp-scum grows thicker by the day.
Khashoggi was not a member of the media, and sometimes spies get killed. That's the way the world works. Governments (including the US government) are not warm and cuddly. They use force.
When the left gets it's panties wadded up over the Clintons re: Homegrown lies/theft/many Americans died...then you (the left) might have a reason to whine.
Until then?
Shut your trap(s).
What links do you have to prove your assertion? After four years of investigations into Benghazi even Gowdy said it was politically motivated. Because they came up with nada, zip, zilch.
Your assumption that any other president would have done the same here shows how end stage your TDS is
Obama himself wrote that he thinks the Magnistky Act exceeds Congress's power and that he would make his own decisions as to whether to comply with Magnitsky requests from Congress.
Finally, section 1263(d) purports to require me to determine whether a foreign person has committed a sanctionable human rights violation when I receive a request to do so from certain members of Congress. Consistent with the constitutional separation of powers, which limit the Congress's ability to dictate how the executive branch executes the law, I will maintain my discretion to decline to act on such requests when appropriate.

And we're not about to shut up. Sorry, not sorry.
The Republicans keep forgetting that policy said the USA had to hire to cheapest provider, even security for embassies and consul offices.
IIRC, the policy was quickly changed after Benghazi.
There is no positive outcome for Trump on this, he nor his supporters can't spin not complying with the Magnitsky Act into a positive.
So with that said, Trump would rather dismiss this story and hope it goes away. So Trump supporters on City-Data are suggesting Ameeican citizens just drop it.
Yet the same person you quoted would be calling for Obama's resignation if he failed to abide by the Magnitsky Act.
Party over country.
