because the benefits are not scientifically proven. he said the only thing that is assured, would be dark yellow urine.
We need daddy government telling us what we can and cannot put into our own bodies, because daddy government knows what's best for us.
So much for Trump curtailing the power of the alphabet agencies...
It's typically Republicans, the small government party, trying to control what people can and cannot put into their own bodies. The two exceptions are sugary snacks and cigarettes, which Democrats are more prone to push for regulation than Republicans.
Unless you have a deficiency in your body proved by accepted medical tests then taking vitamins and supplements will only give you expensive urine. Please realize by taking these substances your body needs to process them putting an extra strain on your organs.
I suggest avoiding processed foods, limit fast foods, eat organic as much as possible, drink pure water, get 7-8 hrs sleep, and leave those vit/supp alone.
The FDA doesn't regulate vitamins and supplements as drugs. They are regulated like food. The issue is that these manufacturers are claiming cures/treatment and that is illegal. Only drugs can state that. They can state it can help with a certain disease. The FDA or the FTC every few years tries to crack down on illegal supplement claims.
