The current right wing movement was started and largely financed by Texas Oil Billionaires like the Hunts...and, of course, the Kochs (John Birch which morphed into many other things). They paid for the writers and the publications..
It's not about walls or immigrants. It's about not having to pay taxes....shifting the burden to national debt and deficit and our children.
