All they were looking for were massive tax break to continue to have record profits,
I guess she doesn't realize Amazon's net profit margin was 4.18% last quarter, with most quarters before that at less than 1%. That's razor sharp by retail standards.

That isn't how Bezo's became a billionaire. He would not be one if his wealth came strictly from Capitalist ventures.
The bulk of the money was NOT a backroom deal. The bulk of the money was from publicly known years old incentives for any company that create jobs in NY. Some incentives older than Amazon the company itself.
So AOC starts screeching out lies including about backroom money deals and then Amazon wanted the resolution to this conflict in the backroom...that doesn't change the fact that the bulk of the money wasn't a backroom deal.

Amazon will still have its original HQ in Seattle
Amazon is still moving forward with its plans for a headquarters2 in Crystal City, as well as the operation center in Nashville.
The Arlington campus is expected to be 25,000-35,000 employees. The Nashville office is expected to have 5,000-10,000 employees
NYS and NYC lost out because of loud mouthed idiots like AOC
