Omar's anti-Semitism is nothing new, and her apology saying that she appreciates "being educated" about anti-Jewish tropes was meant to paint her as naive and well-intentioned. The truth is that Jews in her district spoke to her last year about her anti-Semitism, but I imagine her attitudes are so strongly entrenched that she can't help herself.

When someone shows you they are, believe them.
