Multiple party options would be nice, but would the power structure allow it to happen? The two-party system is great at dividing and controlling the masses with the illusion of choice. Work the masses up into a frenzy against the "other" party, throw your base a bone every now and then, have different rhetoric between the two "competing" parties with similar results, use the media to get each side riled up against the other side, then and rinse and repeat. "I don't really like MY candidate, but I am going to vote for the lesser of two evils"....Lol.

Have to admit it is an ingenious system for overall control.

What if we could just abolish the two party sstem entirely. Everybody, from Elizabeth Warren to Donald Trump, simply just run for president. No candidates identify with any party.

We must stop this right-wing authoritarian Christian nationalist movement or in a few years, we won't have a free country anymore. The only way to do that is by voting D in 2020. Unfortunately I think it's already too late.
^^Exactly this (bolded).

We must vote to stop destruction. It’s not too late!

Trump WAS the 3rd party. He simply cooped and took over the GOP. Everyone knows this.

Not at this time. The orange maniac is so unfit and represents such an existential threat to the Republic, that I have to vote D to make sure he is gone in 2020 and sanity restored to our government. I invite all clear minded free thinking people to do the same.

It’s really the only logical answer.
