I heard about this. The little budding terrorist, lay with a man and now has a bastard baby she can't support. So wants to go back to the UK so the baby & her can be supported by the working population there.
Where's the father now?
There are two stories in the media right now about young women who became ISIS members, leaving their home country.
One woman is an American -- she married a guy, had a baby and the father was killed.
Her second husband was killed.
She is now a refugee in Syria and wants to come back to the USA (she is an American citizen).
Another woman is form the UK. Not sure about her husband -- but she was married & claims to have been pregnant three times -- the first two are dead and she is pregnant now. UK stripped her of her citizenship.
She also is in Syria.
The UK woman ran away with two other girls when she was 15....she's now 19.
The American is also very young.
I don't think their home countries owe them anything.
she should have gone with the ol' "I was conducting my own secret surveillance operation" excuse and she would be home now chowing down on Bic Macs and fries

Also in the UK girl's case she is supposed to have dual British-Banladeshi citizenship and hence by being stripped of her UK citizenship she becomes a Bangladeshi citizen. So she is not stateless. But her lawyer claims she never had a Bangladeshi passport and was born in UK and only had UK passport.
As far as I know the US girl from Alabama was older when she went to Syria and never had any other citizenship. So she is truly stateless if the US does not let her in, unless she claims Syrian status.
After seeing a discussion about this topic, apparently the United States has a difficult time denying her from returning home.
If she has committed a crime against the U.S., she can only be charged after she returns. If the U.S. cannot prove the crime, she can stay or go as she pleases.
International law forbids statelessness, so a refugee has to be a citizen of some country. The principle is: Every person is a citizen of somewhere, and the place of birth determines the citizenship question that cannot be disputed. Only a citizen who voluntarily gives up their birthright can be barred from re-entry into their native land.
If she was never a citizen of Syria, then she cannot remain stateless, which means America has to take her back.
England is having the same problem there with another young woman, one of a group of 3 who all left London and joined ISIS. Because she has dual citizenship from birth, it's a matter of which country can deny her or not for England.

It is up to those countries to decide. I read some returned to Finland and were given life sentences. They were children of Somali refugees who moved to Finland in the 1980s.
She most likely still harbors terrorist sentiments, which she will teach to her children. Best they play with bombs in the desert where they can hurt fewer people.
I just listened to as much of the self-pitying video as I could take. These people were riding high on their anti-Western laurels when they decided to levy war against civilization. Now they want a mulligan. Why should the West trust their professions of undying loyalty now?
