Gun regulations are legal, it is legal to enforce them.......and it is LEGAL to add more.
Add all you want. We already have some of the dumbest, un-enforceable laws layered upon other useless laws that aren't enforced. Go for it.

Just using the same roundabout reasoning used to restrict a woman's right to choose.

Why shouldn't what criminals do with guns be used to further restrict what the law abiding do with guns?

A criminal could possibly steal your gun and kill someone with it, therefore you shouldn't have one.

A teenager could possibly steal their parent's gun, take it to school and kill a dozen other kids, therefore, parents of minors should not be allowed to own guns.

Just asking for consistency.
Because the law abiding have the Second Amendment that protects them, you seem to have forgotten that.

Increased Regulation(s) Wow.. I wonder why nobody has ever thought of that?

When was the last time you've heard of a repeat offender complying with laws/regulations? Adding more will not stop such offenders. Laws against murder have been on the books for thousands of years, long before guns came about, has that stopped murderers?

I guess they've learned nothing from the bans and other crap already in NY, CA, etc. People simply give em the finger.

So, unless the govt wants to build a butt load of new jails and prisons to take all these new de facto criminals they are just wasting their time. Plus, the people they would expect to enforce it are many of the ones that own all the stuff douche pickles want banned

Love it.

Maybe try some logical thinking sometime, you might be surprised.

Among children, the majority (89%) of unintentional shooting deaths occur in the home. Most of these deaths occur when children are playing with a loaded gun in their parent’s absence.
Gun deaths are the third leading cause of death of children in the United States.

More regulations in the form of enhanced gun education for parents, backed up by unannounced spot checks to ensure parents are properly securing their firearms would be a good start.

More regulations on legal gun ownership will save lives.

Abortion has been around for thousands of years, have laws against it ever stopped it?
Same line of thinking.

Or, how about, if you have a pool, you will have a fence around it, no matter if you have kids or not, a child "could" wander into your back yard.
I believe that is a regulation in a lot of communities.

I didn’t want an expansion of executive power, but you cons seem ok with it to further your pet projects. You’ll have to bear that position in mind when the shoe is on the other foot.
So have abortions.
