Not all of us are namby pamby socialists...
Some of us were told we had no place in NY by Cuomo himself.

That "some of us" would never vote for a democrat ever after living in that chithole.

I lived in Tn 17 years. Most transplants from blue states were the most reliable GOP voters.

They hardly applaud their home states politically.

Lots of people from blue states are retiring to Florida now. I live in northern Illinois and a number of my parent's friends have already done so. And they are from Chicago and are Democrats.

Get used to blue. It's the color of your future.

They maybe elderly but they sure aren’t poor!

Why would you think Florida is siphoning off poor people? The article (which you didn't bother reading) states that people are leaving due to the high taxation of New York residents. Do you think people in their section 8 apartments are going to leave because they can't deduct more than 10k on their federal returns?

Default Cuomo and his wasteful spending

Cuomo is continues to spend NY the taxpayers money on wasteful projects: $22M on voting reforms, free college tuition for residents and illegal immigrants, 27M in tax breaks to get businesses to invest with few jobs as a result, $15M for a film hub nears Syracuse which sold for $1, $90M for a lightbulb factory that never happened, free feminine hygiene products in high schools, the list goes on and on.

Why did he get reelected? Not by upstate NY! Unfortunately upstate is less populated than NYC area and he has his donors and buddies downstate.

Bet I get more 20 and 30 somethings to move here than retirees, that are right wing white and blue collar who will actually contribute to this states economy and possibly change it from tourism retirement and customer service to far better...

The leeches are NOT the ones leaving NY. The leeches stay and leech (along with the new leeches imported to NY from around the world). New York deserves everything that it gets....
