You're ignorant of the law in question. Congress can simply overrule the President if it degrees with the declaration.

the only people who would call a LEGAL removal on a POTUS a Coup, are people who don't know what the word means and are too lazy to look it up.

Constitutionally removing a POTUS is NOT a coup, does not meet the standard


What we really have are Trump supporters trying to muddy the waters, and disregarding any facts that get in their way.

Executive actions, not made up national emergencies by-passing Congressional funding. The majority of Americans don't want a wall. The majority don't want a national emergency. Even sheriffs on the border don't think a wall is necessary. Apples and oranges.

No, it would not be a coup, since it is the LEGAL way to remove someone from power.

Coup = a sudden, violent, and ILLEGAL seizure of power from a government.

Just from reading the tweet, it appears that Trump didn't say it--he's quoting Harvard Law prof Alan Dershowitz.

And yes, misuse of the 25th Amendment, which is what we are talking about here, would indeed arguably be unconstitutional.
