That's would I got out of it but evidently the OP watched a different interview, Wallace did a great interview as usual. He asked Miller directly if he could recall any time when a president bypassed an action by congress to declare a NE and Miller just deflected to :he has the power"

It was a stupid and meaningless question that basically says we have to do things like we have always done them. There can never be an acceptable fist time for something.
And expect different results too.

Thankfully Miller pointed out how congress failed to protect the citizens and how Trump takes his oath serious and will meet his responsibility despite the failures of congress. We see that clearly with the follow up statement put out by the WH.

I think pushback on the National Emergency will disappear if the courts don't block it.

Democrats will be licking their chops to use a National Emergency for all kinds of policies that won't pass congress. Some mentioned on CNN and liberal politicians:
Climate Change
Income inequity
Gun Control, mass shootings
Affordable Housing Crisis

I am certain this list will grow by the hour if the courts don't block.
Hope that wall was worth it.

If the courts are the place these things are going to be decided then lets get them before the courts.

We have right to know if the left is going to be successful and we are going to eventually be a socialist/communist country.

Where in the constitution does it say the SCOTUS can amend the constitution ? Lets get that question answered too.

How much of the border is unmonitored or unsecured ?
When the answer is none we will be closer to knowing what crosses and where.
Ummm ok, so lets spend $60 - $100 billion on "we don't know what we don't know".

Miller is the epitome of a dashing urbanite. I'll bet he got ALL the tail in high school.

It was the perfect question, every irrational or unconstitutional move by Trump is met with the usual response "he is different" while avoiding the question.

I have news for you, 100 feet of wall will not cure Trumps fictional National Emergency. Does the emergency disappear if he is allowed to follow through or is there a NE2.

Yes congress has failed and Trump seized on that failure with an overly simplistic solution.

The truth is a yes or a no doesn't matter. It changes nothing. Its meaningless.

I got news for you its nearly 1700 to 2,000 miles of border.

Its not rocket science. Wall have been built before and they do work. The NE is for more than just a wall. There are lots of reasons that make it a NE as outlined by Miller.
