Should a special counsel be appointed to investigate evidence of an attempted coup by these people?

Surely the people who supported the special counsel investigation assertions that President Trump conspired with the Russians to steal the 2016 presidential election from Hillary Clinton without any solid evidence will support this currently proposed special counsel into assertions that are backed by a great deal of evidence. Yes?
Absolutely. It's time to investigate the establishment. Enough of this BS Mueller probe.

Says who? troebsmom, from the comforts of your living room? The evidence seems to suggest otherwise.

I'm fine with that, go ahead and investigate.

The SC would find nothing and Trump would be proven a liar.

As long as it’s not behind closed doors, I say bring it. Let’s see what led Republicans in the Trump Administration to consider the 25th amendment. Let’s get it all out in the open.

I wonder what kind of loophole or excuse a member of the federal government would use to justify the investigation being done behind closed doors.

It will be conducted with the doors just as open as they have been during the Mueller investigation.

Sounds fair, right?

It wasn’t a coup, congress was informed and the IG already investigated and has access. DOJ head #3 can investigate as he chooses, besides the house and senate already have oversight and subpoena power. There doesn’t need to be a special prosecutor for every perceived conspiracy if that was the case we would have three SP’s.

Investigate discussing a legal procedure?

If that's where you want to spend tax dollars...

There was no coup attempt. Yall need to look up the word before commenting. It was nothing but talk amongst a few people at invoking the 25th Amendment.

If you are so confident, then surely you will not mind having a special counsel investigate it then. Right?

Or if people are opposed, then that makes one wonder what it is they are trying to hide. Doesn't it?
