If the allegations against Jussie Smollet are true, then he wins hands down. "Empire" should fire him. (Oh, wait.) I don't really know if these two are comparable though. What Roseanne said was stupid, but it was just someone sharing her opinion.

The fact that the Brothers continue to be in protective police custody and leaks are coming out that CPD and the FBI are looking into a Kamala Harris and Corey Booker connection in this incident that may link them directly to Smollett is extremely disturbing. How far up might this go? This could be a case of Harris and Booker using Smollett to hurt Trump and influence the 2020 election. Russia who? Russia what?

I think it's extremely premature to drag anyone into this beyond Jussie based upon innuendo and leaks.
If you're not taking a wait and see approach for hard facts to come out you're no better than the media that jumped all over the Covington students or coddled Jussie from the start over a highly questionable claim.
I was never a fan of Roseanne. I don't like loud obnoxious people and what she did was stupid and ignorant but rather typical of her "brand" of comedy. Does anyone remember when she butchered the national anthem at a sporting event?
Smollett if he is guilty of orchestrating the attack is far worse than Roseanne.
She was tried in the court of public opinion and found guilty.
He should be tried in a a real court and if found guilty he should go to jail.
We have enough real problems in the world without some Loon trying to bolster his career and/or making a political statement to further an agenda against the President by faking an incident.
