No child that age has any ideas about what’s really going on in the world. Has to have been his parents that put him up to it.
I know this because in every other thread about kids expressing political opinions, posters on C-D told me that their thoughts couldn’t be their own.
Of course, many of those same posters expressed all kinds of hate for those kids in their next breaths, so I’m thinking that the OP must have just missed those threads.

I feel like if the kid had been raising money for Planned Parenthood, he would be getting a lot less sympathy from those expressing outrage here. And to be fair, a lot more sympathy from another segment.
Did he have a permit to sell that hot chocolate? Is he paying sales taxes to the state? Did he have a Health Department food inspection? Pay any rent to his location? Liability insurance?
Funny how things get a pass when little white kids do it.
I cannot believe that this was the boy's idea. Sure, seven-year-olds might be upset about clubbing baby seals, but for a seven-year-old to be this "fired up" over a wall to keep people out of the United States?
I think this was his parents' idea, and that they were seeking both fame and kudos from others who think like they do.
But for any adult to attack a child, even verbally, is just disgusting!
Actually, they don't give a flip about Hondurans and other brown people. They just hate Trump.
If Trump decided to tear down the wall, they would support building more walls.
And if Obama had built the wall - Trump would have torn it down.
He cares about a wall only as a rally cry for the 2020 election - just the same way he used it in 2016.
