Primitive ? I know where these gals come from. 99% of prostitutes wish were anything but that - some just been in it so long just accept their fate. You don’t understand the abuses the everyday a working gal takes - live in your high cloud of denial.
The John doesn't know that or control that. You bust the culprits for that - the pimps and massage parlors. Your thinking is primitive.
The John may know that, or have cause to suspect it.
Or the John may not
That will almost certainly be looked into during the investigation.
It's not the John's responsibility for the treatment of the prostitutes of the massage parlor. Your thinking would be the equivalent of holding people responsible when they buy T-shirts if the company that makes them uses child labor.
It's not really thinking, but I come to expect that from most of you.

And yet these same women when it comes to abortion, that it's a woman's body and she has the right to do with it as she pleases including removing the clumps of cells that may form a human child. I don't see how they can say she can't sell her own body to a willing participant for a fee.

Not just women push for it, men do as well. Both are wrong. Just as people push for abortion.

These are supposed to be very smart people yet they had no idea these women were being used, completely blind. No one ever asked the question where this group of Chinese women came from, they just appeared on the scene.
Its a barbaric industry yet you seem ready to make excuses.

It's not a barbaric industry - it's only barbaric when women are held against their will. Otherwise, it's the woman's body and the John's money. Your thinking is primitive.

Think some more
Buying knowingly stolen goods is, rightly, illegal in many places.
Knowingly participating in prostitution with a trafficked individual is at least as bad as that and should have legal consequences.
