There are some individual blacks who like Trump. They have a mind of their own. The vast majority of blacks will vote Dem no matter how low the black unemployment rate is. However their voter turnout is traditionally low, Obama was the exception. Unless they nominate a black candidate many will stay home like they did in 2016.
Hispanics are a different story. Many do seem to appreciate that the Hispanic unemployment rate is at a record low. Trump's popularity among Hispanics is surging, up to 50% in a recent poll. Plus a surprising number of Hispanics are pro-wall and Trump emphasizing this issue is actually helping him with Hispanics.
There was actually an article on Politico that Trump has enough Hispanic support to win reelection. (See link below). This thread would've been more accurate if it was about Hispanics rather than the black vote.
I remember about how the right wing racists portrayed Obama as a lazy bum who golfs too much. They would attack Obama for vacationing in Hawaii. But now that we have a big fat pig as president. Everything is OK.
A big, fat pig who spends more in "executive time" (watching news about himself, tweeting, making personal phone calls, eating fast food), then regularly running off to his resort and golfing.
That, compared to a guy who worked a full day, being stable and focused, then still worked into the night in private quarters. For those to complain about him having a regular (and deserved) vacation or golfing (less than tRump), after having functioned well and succeeded two terms, is preposterous. Should I add, not having been a criminal or lying scumbag?
The only real disaster of a president has been this current excuse for one. Of course when he is gone, his worshippers will be whining that he didn't get a fair shake.. blah, blah, blah.

That makes exactly no sense to thinking people—or to people who’ve ever known an actual black person.

Yep, just like blacks only voted for him just because he was black.
Perhaps blacks voted for him because the alternative would have put Sarah Palin a heart beat away from the Oval Office. There were many people who leaned right who could not even bring themselves to do that.

Every Trump voter is a critical thinker. The media, every authority, every celebrity told us to hate Trump. Yet we didn't listen to them. We can not be programmed and that's why the left hates us so much.
Can you admit that support for Obama was always about race, or do you believe that all of his historic legislation from his brief time as an elected official was the reason 95% of black folks voted for him?
Did he beat Biden and Clinton in the primaries because his resume was so much better than theirs?

Blacks voted for every other Dem candidate in similar percentages.
Besides, how do I know that you didn’t vote AGAINST Obama because he was black?
So two can play that game.
Anyway, don’t get mad at me about this. Get mad at your man for making the admission about why opposition to Obama was so fierce. You’re just mad because the truth came out.
