Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Hernandez Morales has been deported three times before 2011 – twice in 2007 and once again in 2010.
Since then, ICE had issued four separate detainers for him related to various arrests including suspicion of driving under the influence, battery on a peace officer and unknown probation violations.
ICE said detainers were issued to Napa County Jail in 2014, 2015 and 2016 while Sonoma County Jail received one in 2016. None of the detainers were honored by jail staff.

UGH. Of course there are losers out there that are citizens and they try to kill cops too but guess what this clown should not have been in the country.
It is bad enough that the female officer could have lost her life but the fact that this guy was illegal and caught 3 times only to have him return is adding insult to injury.
It is true that most people that break our immigration laws do so to seek a better life for themselves and family but it is also true that some of them come to take advantage of our gullible generosity while others come to be criminals. How do we tell the difference until one murders a cop? It is better to keep them all out of the country until they immigrate through the proper channels by following the laws already in place.

I'm glad the officer is ok and I'm glad that the illegal loser is dead. Now we don't have to waste our tax dollars nursing him back to health, warehousing him in a prison for attempted murder of a police officer, deporting him back and hoping a liberal judge doesn't take pity on this "dreamer" and then after all that the guy sneaks back into America carrying even less respect for the law, which means less respect for me and you.
If the guy was willing to shoot a cop to avoid being caught and possibly deported what do you think he would be willing to do to you or anyone else that crosses his path?
