You know the fireworks happen regardless of who is president. At least I know this, surprised the president didn't know this. Also I have been in DC during 4th fireworks, wayyy too long, 12-13 min is really long when starring at the sky the whole time.
I can't imagine a 30 min show, the whole place will smell like icy hot the next day from all the neck strain.
