Heck, many ex-felon can have their firearms rights automatically restored after 7 or 10 years of completing their entire sentence and parole. Only certain classes, violent felons, are prohibited for life.
Gun rights of felons varies by state. Maybe your state has the 7-10 year rule.
Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Washington ban felons from possessing firearms. Florida and Idaho bar felons from guns unless their rights are restored. Oregon and New York do, too, but Oregon exempts certain offenses....

Back to felon's voting rights. I think Iowa and Kentucky are the remaining states which don't give felons their right to vote back after a certain point.
President Trump and Senator Rubio's strong stand against Madura will create a ground swell of hispanic support.
Checkmate!
Edit: It just occurred to me that you naturally assumed that a convicted felon will naturally vote Democrat. Very interesting tell. I'm sure you have a good excuse, masquerading as a reason, for that presumption.

Turn Florida blue. Register and vote.

Vast majority of them don't vote at all, but those who do, typically vote Dem. In this case we are talking about several hundred thousand new votes for Dems.
