You have to understand the the deniers don't have the foggiest clue what "five sigma" means, don't understand basic statistics and standard deviation and don't have any desire whatsoever to learn. Of course they still drive cars and use computers and cell phones and enjoy all the modern miracles of life in 2019. All of these technologies are dependent on a full understanding of physics, science and statistics - but for some reason they aren't refusing to trust them, are they? Climate change denial is just another example of willful strategic ignorance. But at this point it is nearly as indefensible as those that believe we never landed on the moon.
