I wanted to let this speak for itself Moderator cut: trolling

My argument is that far too many have made politics their religion. For those who claim a religious belief, if they actually lived the teachings of their religion as opposed to the teaching of their political leaders, there would be less push back from those who do not.

The argument here is not a religious one as I do not care if you believe in a religion or not.

The bold is not actually true.

No one could live a "Christian" life better than Christ, and they killed Him. He also said, in His final instructions, that there will be trouble for those who choose to follow Him.

Today, we are ramping up to a cultural environment that is similar. With social media and paid hit groups like Antifa, it's easy to get people whipped up into a frenzy about almost anything.

Wow, that is powerful. Thank you for posting this, pknopp.

The day the Evangelicals endorsed Trump was the day I gave up believing the Bible Belt Christians had any connection to Christ whatsoever. Yes, there are many who still live the faith, but there are so many CINOs among them, Christians in Name Only, and they have taken over the narrative. And there is no Christ to be found there.

I look forward to the release of the full album.

Maybe but I first found this song on a site titled "Franklin Graham needs Jesus". It's not full of people who are really religious. They are mostly people that don't care much for Franklin's hypocrisy.

The song and it's message was supported there. Granted, you may have a point that there might be more push back from those who believe like Franklin.

I am not sure how you can make that claim. Just one one supports a political candidate does not imply a disconnect from Christ. People focus on what's important to them. Maybe it's abortion. Maybe it's how radical Islam is treated.

Many black Christians supported Obama.

Many people are at different stages in their walk with Christ, so I think it's not a good idea to blanket a swath of people and claim they are disconnected from Christ.

One thing we are all urged to do is to pray for our leaders, regardless of party (1 Timothy 2).

I understand the lesser evil vote. If that's your position, OK. I don't understand people like Franklin going out of his way to defend Trump's hatred of others.

Franklin's dad did just that. Franklin doesn't.

Evangelicals are wholeheartedly supporting a man whose life in words and deeds is diametrically opposed to everything they preach. Sorry, but it's blatantly obvious that they have put politics ahead of God.

Praying for a leader is not the same thing as endorsing and supporting him when he goes against everything you pretend to stand for.

Like I said... social media whipping people into a frenzy about Graham.

I know people have a problem with Graham. I don't because I don't pay attention to him. His accountability is with Christ, not with me or anyone else. Sounds like the people pushing against Graham are a bunch of busybodies, since they have time to create a website about him.

I also agree with this. In my eyes the Evangelicals have become a lobbying group and less about their beliefs.
