"Anyone who crosses the border illegally is arrested and charged"

YOU have got to be the MOST NAIVE person to ever post on here!

The number of ILLEGAL aliens here is between 11 MILLION and 26 MILLION that have NOT BEEN ARRESTED and CHARGED.

"What they aren't telling you is border patrol agents apprehended more than 100,000 people trying to enter the country illegally in just October and November of last year. Or that that number is way up from the same two months the year before. Nor do they mention that last year, the border patrol apprehended more than half a million people trying to get into the country illegally. And that number, too, is up from the year before."

"The Department of Homeland Security claims that about 20% of illegal border crossers make it into the country. Other studies, however, say border agents fail to apprehend as much as 50% of illegal crossers.
Even at the lower percentage, that means that 104,000 illegals made it into the country in 2018 alone."

High tech crap doesn't prevent them from entering illegally and once they do they become a problem because we have to process them then and are stuck with them for a long time if not forever especially if they claim asylum.

Not all illegals are coming here for work so e-verify on it's own won't stop them. Birthright citizenship and benefits for their kids are other incentives and many come here and work for cash. Criminals and terrorists aren't looking for work either.

We need to deter as many of any of the types above at the border that we can. Once they get into our country it's too late.
Hmm maybe someone should have told Trump that the wall only works when you don't fly in a whole town from Costa Rica to work illegally in your golf courses
Seriously, how much of the Rio Grande do you want to give to Mexico? All of it? Fifty more miles? One hundred?

It was an interesting speech but it doesn't address the bottom line. Illegal immigrants are here because the politicians are owned by big business, and big business wants cheap labor. Your wall rhetoric is nothing more than a simple minded political football manufactured to whip up a low information base. Just ask Trump why he didn't clean house in his clubs for 3 years until he was outed by the "fake news."
