A lot of these posters would be stroking out during deer season in my rural area. They think someones social media page is bad, the local papers always post posed photos of kills. Especially for juvenile hunts and first kills.
Can you imagine if some of these people took a gander at the picture board inside a sporting goods store? They might need an ambulance.

I'm a shooter...but never enjoyed hunting, but I understand the NEED for it. There's a reason there are limits and they vary by area and species....it's planned management. Without it there would be a cycle of overpopulation, disease then starvation which leads to the same thing in the species up or down the chain.
Most hunters either eat or donate their kills, I know of none that trophy it without doing one or the other in some way. whether they do it themselves or leave it up to the dressers/processors.
So what if their hobby cost more than going to the store....it's their money! Most hobbies are counter productive money wise.
