Somewhat. If someone posts something provably wrong in at least some instances the mods will close it.

I have more personal respect for say a David Duke ( not his message) than I do someone who hides behind anonymity afforded by online forums.
David Duke has nothing to lose, he has enough followers and can generate income.

A lot of these people are worried about losing their jobs, but still think these feelings and want to express them. So they need to do so anonymously. As all of us are doing right now I should point out.

I don't see any of this as anything to think even 2 seconds about. What society should really ponder as a society is we created such an hostile environment for certain viewpoints (commonly held) that people need to go into the closest so to speak. I think that's the real issue.

What is "misusing a reply"?

I find it sad that there are people who think folks should be held accountable for their opinions and beliefs, almost as if should they say something YOU don't like, they should be put in time out or banned.

Unless a person commits an actual CRIME by their communication by communicating a threat, everyone should be free to say whatever they damn well please. I do not comprehend this nonsense about people being held "accountable" for their views and opinions.

WHO exactly gets to set the standard for what is acceptable? YOU? Plus with that bar now changing every damn day as more and more completely ignorant people buy into political correctness (also known as cultural Marxism, look it up if you don't know, and most likely you DON'T know) and allow their speech and even their thoughts to be controlled by the latest and greatest tantrum, where people are opposing thoughts, ideas and speech as being oppressive and not fair or not nice, while they themselves are evilly vicious, attacking any and everyone who doesn't conform to THEIR will, beliefs, morality and dictates as they impose their sickness upon others.

People who actually buy into this utter insanity and flat out stupidity deserve what they get.

But then again, that's just MY opinion, for what it's worth.

I guess it's useful to have it available for special incidents instead of everyday viewing.
What about horror stories of nagging moms-in-law (I have not had nor do I currently have a mom-in-law).

"Held accountable" is often shorthand/newspeak for "life destroyed for expressing wrongthink". Quite Orwellian.

There are many times someone should be held accountable. Lets say you argue to end a socialist program but then argue for one that benefits you. It's valid to call someone out for that.

What I see going on here though is more like a fart. It may stink but it really doesn't do much damage. Nobody should take an anonymous reply seriously.

The lack of self-awareness is just mind-boggling.
