She seems to use the Trump Playbook to recieve more than her fair share of media and political attention. According to the link, she has likened climate change to WW2. Trump likened his risks of STDs to his personal Viet Nam and worthiness of a star.

Both say a lot of really goofy stuff.

In spite of or perhaps because of the goofy, both were elected to public office.

Plus, she has cut the top salaries of her senior staff - like Legislative Director and Chief of Staff - to $80,000 so that she could "redistribute" more money to entry-level staff. So the question is: Is she still drawing $170,000 a year or has she capped herself to $80,000 also so she could give more to lower-income staff?

My guess is that she did not take a pay cut. Not one dime.

Could it have been for personal security? The way the right carries on, one would have thought she was riding around in large limos. Instead, she is taking an Uber, probably for her safety from angry right-wingers.

She is no different that all of the Hollywood environmental elitists who jet around the world in private jets to give speeches on reducing carbon footprints, and then return back to their 10,000 sq. ft air conditioned mansions with abundantly watered green lawns in desert environments. Sacrifice is for the little people, not AOC and her gang. I will listen to what these folks have to say when their carbon footprint is equal to or lower than mine. Until then they would do well to look in the mirror.

Another example of being generous with OPM. But it's so BLATANT in this case. She's not only a hypocrite, but an idiot. The people in her district must be idiots, too.

Any semi-normal Democrat will beat her in 2020.

Nice try. You overestimate her importance.

Actually, that would be you who overestimates her importance, by starting a thread over such an idiotic thing. It's like the outrage over a staff member eating a hamburger. You guys foam at the mouth over the most idiotic things. This thread is proof of that.

It tells us she must be doing something right, since she seems to send the right into pearl-clutching vapors day in and day out. It's quite amusing to watch.

No that would be you and every other Republican who hangs on her every word and then posts about on this and other forums.

How can a statement be so true and so ironic at the same time?

Wrapping my mind around it is like when you have two mirrors on opposite sides of the room and the reflections go on to infinity.
