Well … I said this before …

Donald Trump said he got 17 million for repairs for a hurricane that by all evidence, did very little damage.

So ….

1-Either the insurance company was just stupid and gave away 17 million to Donald Trump,

2-There was a scam (conspiracy) to steal 17 million from the insurance company and Donald Trump was the recipient,

or

3-Donald Trump lied about getting the 17 million to start with.

I doubt #1 occurred so that leaves you with #2 or #3. Trump scammed the insurance company or he lied (yet again).

Take your pick.

#4 you made a bunch of bad assumptions out of partisan bias and a lack of education about commercial insurance policiies.

You realize in these catastrophic events such as hurricanes business are losing business as well as any physical damage to the property. Businesses losses are included and calculated into the claims.

Or Trump and the CEO agreed to settle it for 17million during their golf meetings.

Lehman was trading at 150+ even 3 or 4 months before its demise. Its hard to trust any of the numbers. Some one mentioned they have 2.2bn which is 4% of total premiums. It may be higher or lower. We never know.
