In trumps first 500 days in office he has told 3,251 Falsehoods and Embellishments
This is an average of 4.5 per day.
This has cause a lot of people in America to flip out and consider Trump the Liar In Chief.
Here's a list of some of his most outright lies as pointed out by the New York Times:
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...umps-lies.html
Psychologists wrote books on how unfit to lead the country Trump is.
Reviewing a book about the role of falsehood in the “Age of Trump,” MSNBC host Chris Matthews let it all hang out, declaring that the president “lies the way a woodpecker attacks a tree: compulsively, insistently, instinctively.” It feels, he wrote, “as if something has ripped in the fabric of reality of America at this moment.” He labeled Trump a “demagogue,” using the reigning cliché of the mainstream media about the president.
Funny thing is, this is nothing new: During his 1964 Presidential campaign, 1189 psychiatrists labled Barry Goldwater "psychologically unfit" to be President.
So, how do Trump's lies compare with other POTUS's lies?
Nixon: Watergate. Lied about the POTUS involvment in the break-in and coverup.
Kennedy: covered up his precarious health (Addison's disease), denied his extramarital affairs, and lied about the "missile gap" during his campaign.
Clinton: We all remember the Lewinsky thing right?
Obama:“If you like your health care plan you’ll be able to keep your health care plan.”
Lyndon Johnson: We are not about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what Asian boys ought to be doing for themselves.
George Bush and the weapons of mass destruction lies.
I feel like all politicians pander to their crowds. They all lie and switch positions.
In real estate we call it "puffing".
It just seems that everyone who's losing their marbles over Trump's lies have gotten stuck in the now and have forgotten that every, and I mean every single President has been caught in multiple lies in their times in office.
