I just want to ask if anyone has considered how a massive pandemic—real or imaginary—will impact the 2020 Census???
That is contentious requirement that Trump would love to stop or at least impede an accurate accounting since it would add numbers to states he doesn’t approve or to demographics that he feels threaten him...
How likely are people going to want to be Census takers and go into homes that might be contagious?
Talk to strangers who might be infected?
There is no way to anticipate how long this disease might last since people seem to pass it around Willy-nilly w/o any attempt to use even simple pro-active measures——like covering their mouths when they cough or sneeze....
Our government certainly isn’t on top of seeking out infected people at this stage
I don’t think about a million people get sick it will care about finding infected people—they will be self evident
I think this might be the first time a census is postponed in the national interest
Or maybe not—
Went online and found this link
Seems like lot of Census reporting will happen remotely—by phone, Internet, mail
https://2020census.gov/en/important-...sus%20%2Bstart
There will be people counting homeless population next week—
Imagine that...maybe while they swab for CoVid-19...
