Barr has sold his sold to the devil (trump) . It took trump a while to find someone who would compromise their integrity as AG but Barr is doing it .
I wonder what Mueller is thinking. When he is called to testify, it will be interesting to see what he says about Barr’s decision on making the call about obstruction. Also, Mueller’s thoughts on Comey. Comey and McCabe mentions their good working relationship with Mueller numerous times throughout their books.
So Fox posted 55% approval rating when that is actually his disapproval numbers.
His approval numbers are 44%.
Now this is strange. Why would they do that?
Because they can. They are fully aware that their main demographic is old people who have few Internet skills that would lead them to discovering that Fox is lying to them. Fox has a pretty captive audience of old people who sit in front of the TV all day and watch nothing but Fox News. They buy whatever Fox is selling. They are easily led.
People under his Twitter feed are posting the actual poll numbers. Unfortunately, many people won't see it.
The Fox News audience certainly won't. My father, who is 91 and pretty astute (and a lifelong Democrat, so he's not part of Fox's audience), doesn't really understand what Twitter is.
Fox knows their elderly audience is too tech-illiterate to ever find out how much the network lies to them on a daily basis. It's the only thing that keeps Fox News in business.
Trump's speech to that Republican campaign dinner was the third-most-dishonest event of his presidency: 34 false claims. He made 102 false claims in all. That's the 11th-worst week of his presidency, second-worst since the midterms.
Fox News White House
Fox News has always been partisan. But has it become propaganda?
Quote:
The Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, another conservative Never Trumper, used to appear on the network, but wouldn’t do so now. “Fox was begun as a good-faith effort to counter bias, but it’s morphed into something that is not even news,” she says. “It’s simply a mouthpiece for the President, repeating what the President says, no matter how false or contradictory.” The feedback loop is so strong, she notes, that Trump “will even pick up an error made by Fox,” as when he promoted on Twitter a bogus Fox story claiming that South Africa was “seizing land from white farmers.” Rubin told me, “It’s funny that Bill Shine went over to the White House. He could have stayed in his old job. The only difference is payroll.”
Jennifer Rubin is right. I used to like Fox for the same reason she did, as balance to the lefty bias of MSNBC and CNN. Now it's Trump TV and I very rarely watch it anymore. I Still like Chris Wallace though.
