Love it! As do everybody else I know.
Do you enjoy paying the phenomenally high taxes for it? I know I would detest spending $6 to $7 for a gallon of gasoline.

As opposed to go bankrupt in case of a medical emergency?

Without any doubt, I would rather get health care from a socialist country such as France.
Some of my relatives live there. Some just died recently without owing anything. Their care were not subpar whatsoever.
There was no line, no restriction nothing.
In fact, France has been rated as the best country to get medical care by the UN.
As far as the gas, there is such a thing as public transportation or an hybrid car.

I have medicare which is "socialized medicine". It's the best plan I have ever had. I never wait for appointments or services. So I say yes. Bring it on.

Psst. IT ALREADY HAPPENS HERE EXCEPT THEY DIE.

Then again that happens to the lowest working class poor people too rich for medicaid. So it is population control for losers.

The joke is you Americans don't seem to notice when those thirteen back-to-back drug commercials (followed closely by the 'ambulance chaser' lawyer commercials) interrupt your news or program viewing to convince you to use a certain blood thinner over another type...… Nowhere else allows that nonsense.

They know you're just gullible enough to demand your doctor give you the latest media driven narcotic or whatever. "Why aren't you giving me a script for "B"? I heard on the TV it's way better than "A" and the only side effect is kidney failure"?

The amount the drug companies spend on R & D is a mere pittance of what they spend on marketing and sales or CEO salaries.

The majority of new drugs are developed through Government grants and independent labs; NOT drug company research.

Ooopsy! https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2018/0...cd_a_23426460/

Then you forgot to add to your burden the cost of purchasing a medical insurance plan that would cover your entire family with no deductibles required, no co-pays required AND would cover you from cradle to grave.

If you can even find such a plan in the U.S. ….how much would it cost yearly...….????

A sample that does not provide everything the rest of us get:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money...our/676046002/

https://www.beckershospitalreview.co...4-in-2018.html

$28,000.00 on top of your tax rate to NOT get the same coverage????

And Mr. train driver...we know you're getting yours fully paid for from your union job driving trains for Warren Buffets BNSF.

you are right. no healthcare system is perfect. and that is not just a few.
And if socialized medicine is supposed to cover everybody, why are these issues popping up at all?

there shouldn't be rationing at all under socialized medicine. Socialized medicine is supposed to be a this great utopia.

You've bought into the pharma propaganda, lock stock and barrel.

Why not stand up for yourself and fight back instead of carrying the water for the ruling class who bribe the politicians you vote for and tell them these scripted lies to serve the people?
