If you have been on this earth for the past fifty years you have seen climate change in action. The link below explains why some deny climate change. IMO, most are from the fossil fuel industry and others simply like driving their 500hp 4 x 4 to the grocery store in Memphis, or going fishing with a 300hp twin engine 18' boat, these people believe they could not exist without their fuel burning contraption. These people have little to no concern about the future for their children or grandchildren.
Deny climate change as you may but we will start seeing food prices soar as crop production is affected more and more. Bigger, more severe hurricanes and more tornadoes are in the future. Not to mention every year getting hotter and hotter. BTW, did you know that corn cannot pollinate in temps of 95 and above? Not to mention the demise of our greatest pollinators, bees. Every year we come closer and closer to a total electric grid failure. I guess you could always sit in your high powered vehicle running the a/c until the gas runs out. Then what?
However some do see that climate change is an opportunity for the US to lead in alternative energy sources.
I don't think anyone is denying it....what we are saying is that it's not happening at the break neck speed the pro-climate change people are saying it is.
Remember, this used to be global cooling, then global warming, then the catch all 'climate change."
Let's remember the crock of crap the gore tried to push down our throats....
We were living in the little ice-age a hundred years ago, we are warming out of it. so of course the planet witnessed warming.
Have you seen the papers from the UK Met Office and NASA, which showed a "pause" in average mean global surface temps, for the past twenty years? There is no catastrophic global warming.
No I would like to see the links on a pause or that this is natural.
18 of the warmest years on record have occurred since 2000,
Look at this graph, do you see cooling. Part of the reason we are in this state is that congressmen are also deniers.
Yes, I see cooling.
Look at 1963 to 1964. It cooled. That obviously proves, according to some, that the graph won't show any warming in the future. And if you look at the graph you'll see...exactly the opposite.

If the goal is to reduce temps- we are there.
How can you explain the decline in temps, despite rising Co2 levels? Perhaps................just perhaps................... CO2 has very little to do with global temps?
What HAS HAPPENED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS? Decreased solar activity and reduced sun spots. Funny how that big burning gas ball in the sky might have some impact on global temps, isn't it?
Lol. It sounds like it's written by a fourth-grader. No serious person would ever write, "Eighteen of the 19 warmest years all have occurred since 2001, with the exception of 1998."
Using "all" is a telltale sign that this was written by a moronic advocate rather than a scientist.

Rather than argue the way it is presented, do you get the point. I wouldn't call NASA scientists morons, that should be reserved for a congressman that brings a snowball onto the senate floor to claim that as proof that it isn't warming. Its a shame that we have some congressmen with a scientific education level on par with the Taliban.

Well that's what the deniers do, they take a year or two when it was flat and claim proof positive that its not warming.

He can't because temps have not fallen for the past 2 years. You are just talking out your arse again.

It's a shame that we get ridiculous stuff like that linked web page from NASA. And, no, i don't get the point. Moreover, you people need to get this through your heads: The fact that some people who disagree with you are stupid and make stupid arguments doesn't mean that you're right or that the arguments you people are making aren't stupid in their own right. If you really care about this stuff, you need to up your game, because you don't even seem to be trying to convince anyone.

And pro climate change people push the "it's going to happen" in the next...__________ <<<insert years here....and then when it does not happen, they say the science was wrong...
Again, remember what gore stated, right or wrong, it did not matter....the premise was there....

Why is a credible link ridiculous?
American anti-science and lack of science literacy is what's truly ridiculous.
