Did the Pentagon ever find those billions they misplaced?

Every person in congress wants military spending in their district and they will do what they need to do to keep it. Spending our kids into bankruptcy if they need to. Spending on equipment the military does not want should be against the law.

Now, there's a name I've not heard in a long time.

Does it really count as "exposing" when you quote from a public speech?

Why should we listen to a failed candidate in Palin?
Didn't she also tell us that if Obamacare were enacted we would have "death panels"?

I don't know anyone, regardless of party, that thinks there isn't a fair bit of fat that can be trimmed from the defense budget, including multiple veterans.
She never said "i can see Russia from here" was done on a leftist SNL skit..but dont let a little truth get in the way of a good lie.

I'm following the President's example. I do like how you completely accepted that she's a total quitter though.

Here's the context. She did say it, just not from her house, which was a Tina Fey sketch. WTF does something have to be left or right. Can't it just be parody?

The basis for the line was Governor Palin’s 11 September 2008 appearance on ABC News, her first major interview after being tapped as the vice-presidential nominee. During that appearance, interviewer Charles Gibson asked her what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, and she responded: “They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska”:

The funny thing wasn’t just that she said it, the funny thing was she used it as a qualifier for foreign policy experience. I can see the Mt Shasta from my house, I should be a great mountain climber!

Anything that supports the people instead of the vested, powerful interests is very DANGEROUS SOCIALISM!

The concept of a joke that requires a bit of background knowledge to work seems to be yet another thing that keeps the conservative mind from appreciating humor.
