OP, you can say whatever you want. Just be prepared to face the consequences.
Sorry to ruin your fantasy, slick. I’m a dude.

Do you think blacks need a special dispensation from civility?

Add it to the list of the things that make up the Left's soft bigotry of low expectations.
The word can be used in a civil manner even by individuals who are not black. You just better be a bit more careful and don’t call a black stranger niger. There is nothing unique about this situation. Our founding fathers took the British insult Yankee Doodle and celebrated it in song. That doesn’t mean the term could not still be used in an offensive manner.

Absolute nonsense.

The word needs to be forgotten as a relic of America's racism towards Blacks......and the idea that it's ok for blacks to use it amongst and about themselves just keeps it in modern lexicon and perpetuates racial stereotypes.

If you want to stop racial discrimination, then stop discriminating by race,.

Lead by example and demand others do the same.

I will follow the example of Snoop Dog and start using the word in everyday conversation. He doesn’t have more rights than anyone else, does he?
Some words are 'fighting' words, the 'N' word is one of them.

I don't know why people can't understand that it's OK for blacks to say it, but not others.

E.g. - I can talk bad about my family, city, neighborhood, etc, but it's not OK for you to.

this is incorrect. the word itself is protected by the first amendment, and whether it constitutes fighting words depends entirely on how it is used.

if you went down the street hollering it at someone repeatedly, then it could be considered and qualify in that context. this actually came up about a decade ago in north dakota.

Like the one poster stated - it's a descriptive word. Some black people ARE and DO act like 'Ns.' Some white people ARE and DO act like 'W.T.'

In the real world that does not happen. What is going on now with the n word is a common reaction by an oppressed group to ethnic or racial slurs.
