Economic miracle is a turning into an economic nightmare.

Why?

Real wage growth is -9.1% since Trump took office.

But why doesn’t it feel like the economy is growing? The answer is pretty simple: Because economic growth is not really benefitting the average American worker.

Taking all this into account, it’s no surprise that many Americans aren’t experiencing an “economic miracle” under Trump. Nearly half — 48 percent — of Americans say they believe economic conditions are worsening. That’s up from 45 percent in December and 36 percent in November, according to a January Gallup poll.

A near-record number of Americans say they expect to be better off a year from now, according to a new poll, even as some economic indicators paint a more mixed picture. The number of respondents predicting their finances will improve in the year ahead hit 69% in a Gallup poll released last month, marking the second-highest level of optimism seen in 114 surveys going back to 1977.

The highest level was recorded in 1998, in the heyday of the dot-com boom, when 71% of Americans expected to be better off financially by the following year.

Those who said they were worse off than a year ago dropped to 26%, the lowest level reported since October 2000.

Almost all of the growth in incomes in the past few years have gone to the people who fund the elections.

Take a look at this graph:

The situation for the typical worker is dire and it wont change unless the workers start to rise up and fight back.

That's why I support Trump. It was D & R, corporate crony politicians, who sold us down the river by passing NAFTA and attempting to pass the TPP. Under Trump manufacturing is coming back to the US, wages for low earners is on the increase, taxes are down, gas prices are down, consumer confidence is sky high & economic optimism is through the roof. We finally have a POTUS fighting for Main St. over Wall St.

You'll know who's on the side of the people when the new USMCA bill comes up for a vote. Watch carefully & take names. The Koch Bros & the multinational corporations via the CoC (Chamber of Commerce), absolutely hate Trump for putting Main St ahead of Wall St. & have pledged to fight the new, better, trade deal to the end. They will align once again with the corporate Democrats to work against the American people.

Low-Income Workers See Long-Awaited Wage Gains
https://www.wsj.com/articles/low-inc...ins-1538771475

Average wage growth continues to flatline in 2018, while low-wage workers and those with relatively lower levels of educational attainment see stronger gains
https://www.epi.org/blog/average-wag...tronger-gains/

Income growth is faster at the bottom than at the top. Thank a growing economy, falling unemployment, and minimum-wage hikes across the country.

The recent gains for low-wage workers is encouraging, said Shambaugh of Brookings. “That’s helping people who are working at or near the poverty line, but you’d like to see more of that creeping up into the middle.”

Noone is going to fight anything.

Congress of both parties is long bought out. The .01% just humor us with elections and let us speak our minds because it will affect nothing.

This has been building from before Trump came into office. No, he has done little to nothing to offset the trend but people should have been complaining years ago. If they had, perhaps we would not have Trump today.

Most Americans were too busy being outraged over a former Olympic gold medalist turned-reality TV star transitioning from male to female and Obama lighting up the White House rainbow to care. And if they really cared, we'd have Bernie Sanders right now, not Trump.
