AOC has the Trumpers flustered...
1) Show me a democrat labeled "the rising face of the party" and being given prominent media space practically daily has EVER not been attacked by the right. (Or vice versa). Has nothing to do with her being a "strong woman".
2) They're not afraid of her, they're using her to try to portray the direction of the democrat party as being socialist and gender\race identity and nothing else. Now you may think that's a good thing and no, it's not entirely true but that's what political attack memes are all about.
I mean logically, can't they just claim that you're afraid of Trump because he's a successful man and that your complaints of him aren't because you think he's an idiot and want people to take note or that you're just afraid of how awesome he is and blah blah blah. I think AOC is viewed by middle America a lot more like Trump than as any sort of awesome strong woman gender politics BS.

I will admit -- I am scared of the damage she could do if her demented dream of socialist utopia ever takes hold. You bet I am. At first I thought she was merely an entertaining side show, but it appears she's more than that.
NBC poll says 72% won't vote for socialism. So I think we're ok.
I hope all campaign finance is looked at. The money is out of control and matters more to politicians than the voters at this point. I have to beg a congressman to talk about an issue affecting his constituent. But I can get a congressman to say near anything for a 5K donation, even hire me on to their team. Bernie Sanders showed that the public will support via financial donations candidates they support.
Democrats have been clawing back some of that influence via new young candidates, remains to be seen how influential they will be outside the hysteria on this forum. I have yet to see what this will look like on the Republican side, they are still focused on Trickle Down economics.
I still don't understand why Republicans are ok with a rigged capitalist system and I see opportunity for some young guns on the Right to make a big impact. I saw nothing at CPAC that would resemble a vision of where the Republican party is going. No new ideas on how to fix the economy at the middle class level, housing prices, ideas to lure jobs off the coast of America and into the middle America (This would benefit All Americans). Republicans are running a opposition campaign against themselves as they control the Senate and White House. All seems like wasted potential and a missed opportunity to really help middle America.
