Here is a walk down memory lane for those who remember Nixon:
there is not one person alive out there that has not broke the law in someway... especially speed limits
He's far too self absorbed to support ANY cause other than feathering his own nest. That includes the cause of representing the citizens of this country and protecting the security of our nation.
He has worked on issues important to his base, namely illegal immigration, tax cuts, trade agreements and appointing conservative judges.
In return, many supporters seem content to look the other way in regard to his astonishing personal and ethical shortcomings. They love his authoritarian political approach.
The best polls are aggregates. Polling is a science and and can be shaped by how the questions are structured, polling methods, online, land line, cell phone etc. Nate Silver probably does the best job of collecting all the polls and factoring these variables. He does not conduct his own polls. He was the only voice out there that did not give Hillary a 95% chance of winning the election and that the polls were within the margin of error. He nailed the popular vote though. This is where he shows Trump approval from Quinnipiac...the poll in questions
Even with Quinnipiac leaning a little left this is a devastating poll for Trump being viewed as a crook and gives the House a big green light on moving forward with the investigations.
Agreed.
It’s not good news going into the next election season, particularly if this perception is commonly held among independents/unaffiliated voters.
There’s going to be lots of hand-wringing at the RNC.
How is there no basis when there are so many examples?
Trump U.
The discrimination cases in the 1970s.
Failing to pay his contractors.
Leaving Atlantic City on the hook when his casinos failed.
The list goes on and on and all of it in the public domain.
The poll results don’t surprise me at all.
Trump U - Civil matter settled. 1970s Houseing - Found that Trump did nothing wrong, Contractors were paid. Atlantic City was not left on the hook. 3 other casinos had already closed. Their policies drove out business.
So your list is a bunch of nonsense. Talking points put forth by the leftist media without the details or actual truth,
I don't see why you say that. If we dismiss this we have to dismiss every single poll takes of "country - wrong or right track" or "will your economic situation improve?" and everything else.
Granted, it's not science and I would never claim that these people won't vote for Trump (again). We know - even from CD - that many Americans say their perceived ends are worth ANY means.
My take is that won't work out well in the scheme of history.
Seriously?
There's a difference between a poll asking whether or not the country is on the right track vs. asking if people think a person has committed a crime.
One poll requires objective knowledge on the topic, and the other merely asks for an opinion.
A poll that asks the general public their opinion on something that requires objective facts (facts which 99% of us simply don't know) is utterly POINTLESS. It would be like polling people on the street "What do you think is the best treatment for such-and-such cancer on patient X?" Most people aren't qualified to answer that question, so what TF is the point?
I cannot believe this even needs explaining.......

Here is a walk down memory lane for those who remember Nixon:
A simple majority, in polling people, would be...at a minimum.....half(50%) + 1.
45%....when the remaining 55% = multiple possibilities with the largest one being under 45%....represents a plurality, not a simple majority. The 2016 Election is an example. With more votes than any other single candidate, but still under 50% of the total, Hillary got a plurality of the votes cast, not a simple majority.
In the given link, 43% said no he hasn't broken the law while President, leaving the other 12% to = no answer, or an answer that didn't count as a yes or a no.
