No if anything people seem to be getting younger. i.e. more immature at older ages. I have met so many late 20 and 30 somethings who still acting like teenagers.
No way. Most people are not fully mature until their early-mid 20's depending on their exposure to the real world and real responsibility and real challenges.
I would if anything raise it a couple of more years. 18 yr olds of this generation aren't of the same maturity level of 18 yr olds from 75 plus years ago.
I only agree with 18 because we allow you to die for your country at 18. If that age moved to 21, I would want the voting age moved up to 21 as well.
At 16 your opinions are not fully formed yet, most have little to no life experience. If I voted at 16 I would have mirrored my friends or parents vote as I did when I was 18. Again didn’t know enough to vote at that time either.

So you would be fine at 17? Because when I was 17 I was serving in the military with a parental waiver.
And I don't think 17 year olds should have the right to vote.
The 18 yr old voting age is exactly where it should be, not higher or lower.
There is a meaningful difference in the mental development between a 16 and 18 year old, unlike say a 35 vs 37 year old.
