Geez. Not even close. It is a waste of money. That's it. New immigrants are not citizens and not voters, and frankly, I don't have a crystal ball as to who will be voting what way in 20 years.

Let's be real here. If Trump and the Republicans force his wall on Texas, depriving Texas citizens of their own land, Texas would be blue within four years.

Let's be real here. If Texas voters don't want the wall, why the hell would they vote for a Republican candidate who wants the wall?

Lets be real here.

The number of illegals voting is not 0
It also is not a million.

Relax OP. Texas is safe GOP for at least 2 more cycles and likely 4. 2032 is a long long way away.

Most Texans do want the wall. Illegals cost us a fortune in crime, educating their kids and other welfare we provide.

Not really, I have yet to see outside of individual cases an obvious impact on illegals in Texas. For example in Houston Gulfton isn’t seen as the worst hood, or even as a crazy dangerous hood in the first place and it likely has one of the highest rates of illegals in the U.S, at best most people describe Gulfton as endless apartments dense and poor, but not as a major crime problem. That is deserved more to Sunnyside, the Third Ward or Fondren Southwest or Greenspoint or Acres Homes. For example I have yet to here anyone complain about the RGV as much I have heard complaints about Silsbee, Beaumont and Port Arthur or basically anything within the Golden Texas Triangle. Theirs a reason RGV is growing every year into the fifth largest metropolitan area and people act like Beaumont isn’t even a part of the state. It’s right up there with Waco.

You don't try very hard plus look at the money we spend in our schools plus the county hospitals. Below is just a small example of the cost not counting human trafficking, drugs and all the welfare benefits we pay.

Can you imagine the expense it cost you and me to enforce the law and keep these people in prison ? Hundreds of Millions a year.

Ever been hit in your car by an Illegal with no Insurance ? I have and thousands of other Texans every year.

How is it a waste of money when myself and others have posted several links proving that the good walls are very effective in deterring illegal entry including the comments from the Border Patrol and Homeland Security? Illegal aliens aren't plan ole immigrants and it's the former that the wall is about not the latter.

There is enough evidence out there proving that some illegal aliens do vote but currently the Democrats are pandering to the ethnocentric type of Hispanic citizens who can vote and want an open border for more of their illegal amigos to enter our country and want amnesty for those already here. If you think that these mostly Latino illegal aliens if granted our citizenship won't vote Democrat then you aren't dealing in reality.
